Our History
The story of Sairul Jori House is one of determination, vision, and the inspiring journey of a rural youth who transformed challenges into opportunities and built something meaningful for his entire community.
Sk Sairul, the founder of Sairul Jori House, was born and raised in a small village in Nodakhali, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. Growing up in a humble family that depended on agriculture and daily-wage work, life was never easy. Opportunities were scarce, but from a young age, Sairul dreamed of creating something greater — not just for himself, but for others around him.
Without any industrial background, financial support, or formal exposure to the garment industry, Sairul began his journey with courage, curiosity, and relentless hard work. He started from the ground up — learning tailoring, understanding fabrics, studying market demands, and gradually building skills in embroidery design and production. He wore many hats: craftsman, designer, marketer, and manager.
From these modest beginnings, Sairul Jori House was born — not just as a fashion and embroidery business, but as a movement for rural empowerment. Sairul made it his mission to train and employ local talent, especially women and unemployed youth, providing them with skills, stable income, and dignity through work.
What started as a small setup in a rural home has grown into a recognized producer of hand and machine embroidered garments, supplying to both domestic and export markets. Today, Sairul Jori House stands as a symbol of how passion, perseverance, and purpose can uplift not only an individual, but an entire community.
Our history is more than just a timeline — it's a living story of grit, growth, and giving back. It's the journey of Sk Sairul, whose dream stitched together threads of hope, hard work, and humanity — turning a local vision into a globally respected brand rooted in Bengal’s rich craftsmanship.
